Excellent. Especially the part about being honest. Honesty and empathy together work to help knowledgeable criticism be useful. A critique that says the work is nice is painful. --- of course I am not saying that a critique has to be sadistic; but we submit poetry here hoping that something meaningful will happen, and that it will become a learning experience.
