Hello all!
I thought I'd pop in while pouring over all of your lovely works and introduce myself. I'm Michelle, a stay at home mom and unpublished poet.
I've been thinking that it was high time that I got out there and share some of the poetry I've been working on, but since only my high school English teacher, my boyfriend, mother, and a few friends have read my poetry I thought I'd better see if any of it was actually worth the paper it's been written on...
I looked at several different boards and chose this one because the poetry I read was readable and the criticism seemed valuable and like it had been given real thought. I hope I'll be able to add something valuable to your forum!

Poetry is ALWAYS worth it - whatever the medium, it is the rewrite that really matters, as you will soon discover on the board .

Michelle, I agree with Ravi's response about poetry always being worth it. I'm happy you will be sharing in the poetry writing, let's love for the love of writing, and help of what helping can do for all of us!

Hi, everyone! I'm back. I didn't have internet access for awhile, then I was working hard on a website...but I figured in honor of National Poetry Month I'd grace you with my presence again! Haha! I see I have a lot of catching up to do!
