'E 'Ad a Chi'k'n Dine Unda
'E add a chi'k'n loyed an egg, she loyed an egg a die,
She knew most bloody everything except the reason 'woi.
An' 'e 'ad a goat wiff shaggy 'air, wiff shaggy 'air and 'orn,
Oo did know bloody everything, except woi she was born.
An' in one connar on a stend, swum a dumb fish in a bowl,
Oo wundud, as she swum abite, "Do oi puizesss a soul?"
Nie th' chi'k'n's eggs 'e froyed 'em up an' the chi'k'n 'e froyd too,
Th' goat 'e milktuh 'till she went droy then shipped her to Kalamazoo.
But the fish 'e let swim 'round an' 'round 'cause she was well employed,
Until the beast went belly up, an' gasped, an' shook, an' doyed.
Now 'e sometimes wunduz in the dead of noyt, did any of the three rejoice,
Believin' full-well - as all men do - they were bound for paradoyce?
